A sound generator with 3 different tones designed for connection to speakers. Suitable for use as a door bell. The different tones are activated with separated pushbutton switches, which makes it possible to use the same generator for 3 different doors, where each door has a tone of it's own. By replacing the pushbutton switch with an IR-detector with relay output, even open doors, corridors etc can be monitored. Adjustable sound level and tone. The DIY-kit can be power supplied with AC, from e.g. a ring conductor transformer, which makes it easy to replace an existing bell. Recommended speaker impedance and power: 8 Ohm, 0.2 W.
